Same Place - Different Capacity

What if the situation hasn't changed, but you have? The day after we unexpectedly ran out of gas at a busy intersection, we drove through that exact same place again. Same road. Same traffic. Same intersection. But this time, something was different. We had enough fuel to keep moving. That simple experience sparked a deeper conversation: Could the difference between struggling and moving forward sometimes be our capacity rather than our circumstances? In this episode of SAJE Reflections, Jessie and Sammie explore how growth, preparation, experience, faith, and the right support can change the way we navigate familiar challenges. We also discuss an important distinction: Not every difficult place is the wrong place, but not every harmful environment is a place we're meant to endure. Sometimes we need to grow.
