Byron Katie says, "When you argue against reality, you suffer." And that's what I'd been doing in the past few weeks. What I'd realized is I wasn't even aware I was. See, it's one thing to argue willingly against reality, it's a whole other thing to do it unknowingly. But, either way, one suffers. So I explored and shifted my perspective. Funnily enough, all I had to do was turn to past guiding principles that simply weren't top of mind. And when I did, everything became much easier. The world didn't change, I did.
