The Sharks would play the Central devision leading Stars and play a relatively even tilt. The shot counter would show otherwise, the equalizing factor being Magnus Chrona making 36 saves good for a .947% Save PCT. Eklund would score his tenth goal of the season while Zadina would score his ninth of the year giving the Sharks just enough scoring support to get to OT. Unfortunately the Sharks were unable to capitalize on a golden 4-3 power play in OT, allowing the game to go to the shootout, with Jamie Benn winning it for Dallas.
