San Ysidro McDonalds Massacre
from Outlaws & Gunslingers · host Bang Dang Network
On July 18th 1984, James Huberty went to his local McDonald's armed with a 9mm Browning HP, a semi-automatic 9mm Uzi, and a Winchester 1200 12 gauge pump action shotgun. Once inside, he opened fire and spent the next 77 minutes shooting innocent people, killing 21 and injuring another 19. The response time of the police to the scene as well as him being in the building so long sparked public outrage that would change the future of tactical police responses to similar situations moving forward. At the time of the massacre, this was the largest mass shooting by a lone gunman in United States history.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/outlaws-gunslingers--4737234/support.Subscribe to our YouTube! https://www.youtube.com/@outlawsandgunslingers
