Sanctification

from GBC Pryor Sunday Sermons · host David

Biblical holiness isn't about following a checklist of rules—it's about being set apart for God's purposes and becoming who He designed you to be. As believers, we are called holy ones, royal priests, and God's own possession. Developing holiness requires active participation through fellowship with God, continuous pursuit of Him, and engagement with Scripture. Unlike justification where God does all the work, sanctification requires our cooperation. True holiness means being transformed from the inside out through regular time with God, allowing His Spirit to make us more like Jesus. This transformation enables us to shine as lights in the darkness, bringing God's kingdom to earth through our unique, God-given identity and purpose. This is a public episode.
