Sanctification In A Nutshell | Positional Vs Progressive Sanctification

What is Sanctification?  Do I still go through sanctification as a Believer? How do I get sanctified?  Who sanctifies? So many questions...Join us on this insightful episode as we explore the multifaceted nature of sanctification, a fundamental aspect of the Christian faith. Sanctification encompasses both positional and progressive dimensions (as I will like to describe it). Positional sanctification refers to the instantaneous act of being set apart by God as holy and righteous at the moment of salvation. Through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, believers are declared righteous before God, their sins forgiven, and their identities transformed. However, sanctification doesn't end there. Progressive sanctification involves the ongoing process of becoming more like Christ in character and conduct. It is a lifelong journey where believers, empowered by the Holy Spirit, actively cooperate with God to align their thoughts, desires, and actions with His will. Tune in as we delve into the intricacies of positional and progressive sanctification, exploring how they intertwine and shape the lives of believers seeking to live out their faith.
