The DockHounds poured a four-run foundation in Chicago... had the Dogs wobbling... and then the foundation cracked. Two errors. One bad inning. One run slipped off the dock. Good news? They swung like they owned the lake. Bad news? The lake don't care about good swings when you hand it the fish. Chicago scratched two in the second... then three more in the fifth, and suddenly the load-bearing wall was leaning. The DockHounds answered in the sixth — one run, a little push back, a deep breath before the final cast.Then the seventh. Two DockHounds errors. Two cracks in the mortar. Chicago pushed across the go-ahead run... and Trey Dillard took the loss with the weight of it. You can't pour a new foundation halfway through the inning... the fish is already off the hook.
