S&R Special: Auf Tour mit THUNDERMOTHER, COBRA SPELL und VULVARINE [Deutsch/English]

DEUTSCH: Im Februar und März 2025 war Cora für insgesamt 5 Wochen in 11 Ländern als Leadgitarristin für die österreichische Rockband VULVARINE auf Tour. Headliner waren die Schwedinnen THUNDERMOTHER, die ihr neues Album “Dirty & Divine” promoteten. Zweite Band im Vorprogramm waren COBRA SPELL aus Spanien. Zu dieser Zeit hatten wir diesen Podcast gerade erst aus der T(r)aufe gehoben und unsere allererste Folge veröffentlicht, in Coras Fall buchstäblich quasi direkt aus der Nightlinerschlafkoje heraus (und mit Shakes tatkräftiger virtueller Unterstützung) zu euch auf die Abspielgeräte. Und da man auf Tour ja manchmal unfassbar viel Zeit hat (und dann wieder doch nicht - Zeitverhältnisse laufen on the road nach ganz eigenen Gesetzen), hat es sich für Cora angeboten, ihr Mikrofon mitzunehmen und dieses Robin Frank (VULVARINE), Sonia Anubis (COBRA SPELL) und Filippa Nässil (THUNDERMOTHER) unter die Nase zu halten. Dabei entstanden wunderbar herzliche und ehrliche Gespräche über die Tour, aber auch das Leben der drei sehr unterschiedlichen Frauen im Allgemeinen. ENGLISH: In February and March 2025, Cora was on tour for a total of 5 weeks in 11 countries as lead guitarist for the Austrian rock band VULVARINE. The headliners were the Swedes THUNDERMOTHER, who were promoting their new album “Dirty & Divine”. Second band in the supporting program was COBRA SPELL from Spain. At that time, we had only just lifted this podcast out of the eaves and published our very first episode, in Cora's case literally straight from the nightliner bunk (and with Shake's active virtual support) to you on the playback devices. And since you sometimes have an incredible amount of time on tour (and then again you don't - time relations run according to their own laws on the road), it made sense for Cora to take her microphone with her and hold it under the noses of Robin Frank (VULVARINE), Sonia Anubis (COBRA SPELL) and Filippa Nässil (THUNDERMOTHER). This resulted in wonderfully warm and honest conversations about the tour, but also about the lives of the three very different women in general.
