Her car was in the shop. Two days later, her daughter arrived at Sandra's house to find the dog with no food and no sign of her mother. The only signs of foul play were disrupted bed slats and a faint spray of Sandra's blood on the floor. Sandra's purse and shoes were missing – and no trace of her has ever been found.
