About SandyI worked for New York City Homeless Services and HIV/AIDS care for 40 years. As a case manager specialist, I assisted clients with financial benefits, health care, evictions, and permanent housing. I have a good recommendation for helping those in need, especially with seeking housing. Because of my persistence to help the homeless, I was honored with the PAI award and a certificate for Outstanding Services at Human Resources Administration from the commissioner of NY, Steven Banks. Helping the homeless gave me the opportunity to understand their struggles and triumphs.
