SANEF takes EFF to court

SAfm — The South African National Editors' Forum (SANEF) says it has laid a complaint against the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) at the Equality Court for comments that its leaders and supporters have been making against journalists. SANEF says although criticism of the media is acceptable, the comments have been abusive, intimidating and amoun to hate speech. It says the EFF leadership is not interested in having a meeting to discuss this matter.
