Sanjay: Walk your own path

from Adam · host Adam Webber

Today I spoke with Sanjay and Divyanka. At first I had told them that I couldn’t do the podcast because they where trying to connect from India. But Divyanka made it clear that this was extremely important to them so I relented and we did our first call via Zoom and then I uploaded the recording to the CallCast app. At times their audio gets a little scratchy from the Zoom call but it was worth it to connect with Sanjay and Divyanka because of the story that Sanjay shared with me about his experiences with life and fear. Sanjay comes from an extremely poor village in India. He is the first in his family to go to a good school and learn english. When he first attempted to learn he was having trouble and he also had TB which caused sever medical issues. But when Sanhay told his mother that he wanted to give up she wouldn’t let him. She pushed him even more. Sanjay also had a teacher who encouraged him not to care what the other kids thought of him or that it didn’t matter if he thought they where more advanced then he was because the most important things was to just focus on self improvement. Sanhay’s true passion is music and singing. He has a beautiful voice and shares how going though the fear of school prepared him to get up on stage and be fearless.
