The controversial Santa Barbara City Administrator Paul Casey spills it all as he announces his departure from the city on Sept. 10. Casey, appointed City Manager in 2015 and Community Development Director in 2001, says he is leaving City Hall. Casey led the city during the COVID-19 pandemic, but also faced serious blowback from members of the business and development community for his perceived leadership problems. In this podcast, Casey talks about the highs, lows and the critics, and pulls no punches. Casey says he is leaving on his own terms and that the critics have not won.
