Santa Clara’s Next NBA Star

Allen Graves, the latest Santa Clara baller to shine, went 19th overall in the 2026 NBA Draft to the Toronto Raptors—making him the third former Bronco selected in the first round in five years. Santa Clara, the only mid-major to land three first-round picks in that span, now boasts six all-time first-rounders, including Steve Nash. Graves, who sat out a year before exploding in 2025-26, averaged 11+ points, led the team in rebounds, and stole the show with 50% FG and 40% 3PT shooting. His clutch performances—including 17 points against Kentucky—helped Santa Clara reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1996. This breakout proves the power of grit and development at a smaller school. Support the show: Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
