Sara Alfageeh’s (storied) Squire
from Modern Minorities Hosted by W!ZARD Studios
"No one had seen an actual Muslim's take. But I'm an artist - if I want something done right, I can just do it myself." Sara Alfageeh’s a Jordanian American comics creator and creative director — but mostly just a major history nerd who just really wants to draw girls with swords. Sara's the co-creator of SQUIRE - a recently released graphic novel that blends the familiar hero's journey with a uniquely Middle Eastern inspired take — a fun read we highly recommend you check out. Sara's also the co-founder of One More Multiverse and her work has been featured by Harvard, Lucasfilm, the BBC, NYU, and even a Google Doodle. Her secret origin will inspire you, and her enthusiasm will give you faith in the next generation - and challenge you to not just sit back, but to pick up a pen and start creating...because no one is going to do it for you. Sara's wise beyond her years, and we can't wait to see what she creates over the next 25 years...
