Sara Newberry of Shottesbrooke - a sense of taste
from The Cellar Door Podcast · host Tom Massey
Send us Fan MailSara Newberry’s earliest memories of wine involved her reluctantly tasting a less than pleasant red pushed at her by her mother. However, after stepping away from her early career to become a superstar mother, she one day walked into a quant wine store called Sense of Taste on Brisbane’s port-side. This was the start of something special. Sara had found her passion and her love for wine immediately began to blossom. One day Sara got talking to some wine reps who came into the store, one thing lead to another and Sara was soon hired as the Queensland Territory manager for Shottesbrooke in the McLaren Vale. Sara is known in the Queensland and wider communities for her passion for wine, the eloquence and poetry with which she describes it and her uncanny ability to share her passion with those she meets. Sara recently sat down with me to share the story of how she fell in love with wine and where that journey took her. A massive thanks to Sara for joining me. Support the show
