Sarah and Mandy chat to Kitty about their charity Wight Forces

Wight Forces is a local Isle of Wight charity that was formed by two colleagues, Mandy and Sarah, who became close friends when working together to help improve things for the island's Armed Forces community.Their mission is to enhance the Armed Forces community on the Isle of Wight by strengthening bonds and providing support, events and resources where needed.Their vision is to ensure that every member of the Armed Forces community on the Isle of Wight feels supported and valued. Whether serving or having moved on to other careers, everyone will be able to access the support that they need, particularly during the challenging transition period from military to civilian life.They have a stall at Chale Show this weekend , so pop along and say hello.Their next coffee morning is Saturday 15th August 10 am to 12 noon at Albany Lodge, Lugley Street Newport.And they have a fundraising sky dive on Tuesday 18th August at Sandown airport .They are looking for volunteers too , so to be part of something rather special , head to www.wightforces.com
