Sarah Aubert: From First Generation College Student to Student Success Advocate

For over 15 years, Sarah has had a professional career in the field of higher education. Having been a first-generation college student, Sarah is energized by developing and supporting structures that ultimately contribute to the successful educational journey of underserved student populations. Through her strategic partnerships, she has been able to unite her passion for visual representation and storytelling with her desire to promote student success and academic achievement. Working in both the California Community College and California State University systems, Sarah has collaboratively partnered with a wide range of faculty, staff, administrators and the public to enhance the student learning experience. In her current role as an analyst/specialist, Sarah is committed to providing leadership, project management and support in the areas of curriculum development, curriculum technologies and educational effectiveness. In her time away from campus, Sarah operates as a freelancer in the area of media production providing services to individuals, small businesses and nonprofits looking to share their stories. Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting and a Master’s degree in Communication with a focus in Media Studies, which she leverages to make the future of the next generation brighter.We're happy you're here!
