Sarah Boone Pre-Trial Motions Summary

from The Emily Show · host Baker Media, LLC.

Sarah Boone was arrested in 2020 for Second Degree Murder of her boyfriend, Jorge Torres. She said they were playing hide and seek and she zipped him up a suitcase. Police found a video in Sarah’s phone of Jorge Torres pleading to be released because he couldn’t breathe. She is heard mocking and taunting him. Sarah has gone through eight different state appointed defense attorneys. The judge said that she was going to have to represent herself due to her behavior. Boone wrote an advertisement and is now being represented by a private attorney. I covered both pre-trial motion hearings for Wednesday, October 16th and Thursday, October 17th. The court has ruled that until Sara Boone takes the stand and establishes the legal grounds or foundations for a self-defense claim, the evidence of that can't come in. We're not going to see an expert or a witness testimony before Sara Boone gets on the stand to testify about any self-defense or battered spouse syndrome or similar.
