Cross Examination of the Lead Investigator ended, and the State rested their case. The Defense argued dismissal of the case, but the judge denied it. Sarah Boone then took the stand. After the first part of her testimony, her Defense argued there were overt acts in order to present a battered spouse syndrome to the jury. The motion was granted.
