SARAH DU PLESSIS - RugbyWA General Manager Community

Sarah is the General Manager of Communities at Rugby WA and has had an amazing career in sports in particular roles to support women in sports. She came to Australia from her home country of South Africa to play Tennis and never left, since relocating she has worked in Surf life saving, Football West and now Rugby WA. Sarah held a role in Female Football & advocacy during the Womens Football world cup which saw the shoot to stardom of The Matilda's Football team which she describes as surreal to be apart of. Sarah talks about being one of the only female leaders across the sports, sitting at a high level and how she manages her career stress with a balanced life of keeping fit and doing enjoyable things on her weekends. A true inspiration and advocate for womens sports I had the absolute pleasure to interview her!
