Sarah Mueller talks April Film Festival | Midday Break Room w/ Tiffany Bacon - 4.20.26

Sarah Mueller is the executive director of cinéSPEAK, a Philadelphia-based arthouse cinema and journal that cultivates experiences and opportunities for filmmakers and moviegoers, celebrating and strengthening local community and global movements for collective liberation. On April 24th from 5–8 PM, cineSPEAK will host their “Under the Stars" Film Festival. This event celebrates their annual outdoor film series in Clark Park, which features independent films, local DJs, food trucks, and community partners. This year’s theme, community resilience, centers the ways individuals and collectives come together to resist, adapt, and care for one another in the face of systemic challenges. Sarah joins the program to further discuss the context behind this film festival.
