Sarah Sherman has quickly become one of the most distinctive voices in comedy. Best known as a cast member on 'Saturday Night Live,' where her surreal characters, oddball sketches, and ongoing torment of Colin Jost have made her a fan favorite, Sherman has spent years building a devoted following on and off screen. With last year’s comedy special 'Sarah Squirm: Live + in the Flesh' — produced by Josh Safdie, Ronald Bronstein, and Eli Bush — the 33-year-old is letting her freak flag truly fly. The special is theatrical, confrontational, and profane, full of gory gags and visceral visuals. Think Phyllis Diller meets Pee-wee Herman partying with John Waters (who happens to intro the show).
