Sarah Shin's episode is out now, and we're so excited to share it with you! Sarah is a Brooklyn-based Korean American theatre artist originating from the small town of Schwenksville. She is a co-founding member of Asian American Theatre Artists of Boston (AATAB), on the Steering Committee of API Arts Network, serves as a Board Member for StageSource, National Queer Theatre Artistic Collective Member, and recently had a virtual residency at Asian American Arts Alliance. We loved hearing about her story of becoming a multi-hyphenate artist, her openness to learning and creating, and her enjoyment of all the different roles she plays in the industry, including directing, acting, producing, and dramaturgy. It's so inspiring to hear how she is working to empower Asian American artists in her collaborations, and her willingness to serve a project in whatever capacity she is needed. When Sarah is not busy creating theater, she finds joy cooking Korean recipes and spending time with her friends and family. Sarah's accomplishments are so impressive and we know you'll be blown away by the scope of her work, her extensive knowledge of many parts of the industry, and the confidence and professionalism in how she handles it all.
