Ooit liep ze nog even stage bij Sparta, toen Alex daar coach was. Sarina was zelfs nog even assistent trainer bij Jong Sparta. Hoe gemakkelijk dat ging zegt alles over haar kwaliteiten.Inmiddels is ze een absolute succescoach in het vrouwenvoetbal met ontelbaar veel onderscheidingen. Hoe gaat Sarina te werk? Hoe scout je voor een selectie van een nationaal team en hoe bekijk je zoveel mogelijk wedstrijden? En hoe belangrijk is vechtersmentaliteit nog in de absolute top? Daar zijn in Engeland verschillen in ten opzichte van Nederland.Ook is er deze podcast veel aandacht voor het menselijke. Sarina schept graag duidelijkheid bij haar spelers en heeft in de loop der jaren ook geleerd haar eigen menselijkheid en persoonlijke verhalen te delen met haar spelersgroep. En tijdens het EK in 2022 kon ze ook bijna niet anders. In aanloop naar het toernooi werd haar zus ernstig ziek en een paar dagen voor de finale overleed ze.
