TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. God in the first reading of today gives a vivid prescription of the jubilee year celebration and it's basically centred on the restoration of all of creation to its original state where all are essentially equal and have equal access to God's presence and blessings. Jesus is our ultimate jubilee of all-around divine restoration of and for all, thereby bringing to perfection that mission of restoration thwarted by Herod in the mission of John the Baptist.
