TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. Though formerly estranged from God, hostile to God's will and living in wickedness, we have been reconciled with God through Christ Jesus. We must therefore live imitating Jesus, the Lord of the Sabbath, intent on doing the will of God. THE PASSAGES FOR THE NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA ARE ISAIAH 62:1-10; PSALMS 125; 126; 127 AND 130.
