For the chocolate bar. Lian and Monica are both curious about the National Geographic Channel show airing tonight: Brain Surgery Live. Monica is definitely in. Lian? Not so much. Liz also gives us a heads up on a new show about scientific advances called Breakthrough that will debut next month on the channel. One of Monica's favorite blogs is Apartment Therapy. They posted this week about what you learn about yourself when you live alone. Monica also shares some parenting duties she has taken on this weekend with our niece Fiona Dolan. Lian and Sheila are skeptical. Meanwhile, Sheila tests out Bank of America's new Teller Assist service. The sisters don't understand what actual "assist" someone needs at an ATM but Sheila found it soothing. Lian has some thoughts on this stupid job title story from the New York Times and some fears about a big book event she is attending tonight. Apparently, she should have look ed at the invitation sooner. Finally a Facebook round-up that includes an Oryx on the loose and some awesome Satellite Sisters of the Week contributing to free dental work to the community in Seattle.
