Satisfied: Passive Purity

Purity will never happen by accident. In this episode of Satisfied, Ryan Swanson opens Proverbs 7 and Romans 16 to show why avoiding deliberate sin is not enough when careless choices still put temptation in your path. Take an honest look at your scrolling, your safeguards, and your accountability, and choose to be intentionally pure. Topics Discussed The young man in Proverbs 7 who walked near the strange woman’s corner The difference between lacking discernment and being simple concerning evil Why innocence and purity cannot be protected by passivity Careless scrolling and allowing algorithms to choose what you see Practical safeguards and accountability before entering a known area of temptation Key Takeaways Not seeking out temptation does not make careless choices safe. Purity calls for intentional decisions about the paths you take and the media you consume.
