Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he has visited his people. He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David, as he spoke through the mouth of his  holy prophets from of old. That we would be saved from our enemies  and from the hand of all who hate us.  To perform the mercy promised to our fathers and has remembered his holy covenant. The oath that he swore to our ancestor Abraham, to grant us  that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might serve him without fear,  in holiness and righteousness before him all the days of our life.R/Gospel: Mark 4:35-41On that day, when evening had come,  Jesus said to his disciples,  “Let us go across to the other side.”  And leaving the crowd, they took him with them,  just as he was, in the boat.  And other boats were with him. And a great storm of wind arose,  and the waves beat into the boat,  so that the boat was already filling.  But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion;  and they woke him and said to him,  “Teacher, do you not care&n
