Saturday Special - Incident Offers Perspective - 3-22-25

“Send Coach John a message”Went through something a little scary on Thursday, on my way to the hospital for a scheduled surgery. On our drive there, we heard on the radio about an “active shooter” situation at the hospital. Everything in the area was shut down and there was a very heavy police presence in the area. We were maybe 5 minutes away and we quickly pulled into a nearby shopping center parking lot to figure out what we were going to do. So many thoughts raced through our heads and as we got home we had a lot more time to see how lucky we were for things not being worse, both for us personally but also for the incident itself. Lot’s of perspective about things in life and sure had us reflecting about current things going on.
