In this episode of The Daily, I am discussing my latest author news, but first, I dive into the Netflix movie Voicemails for Isabelle. The film follows Jill after her sister Isabelle passes away. Left to pick up the pieces while working as a chef and missing her best friend, Jill decides to call Isabelle's phone. Through leaving voicemails, she connects with the new owner of the phone number. They end up falling in love amidst the chaos. Featuring the music of Robyn's "Dancing On My Own," it is a great film adapted from a screenplay that beautifully covers grief, mourning, love, and moving on. Please note there will be spoilers in this discussion.For my author news, I will be at the American Legion Post 116 for their annual Christmas in July Craft Fair, sponsored by the auxiliary, where I will be selling and signing my books.
