Anna is a gifted painter with an engaging story of growth and survival. She sat with us and told us her story. From escaping Cold War era Soviet Union by getting sponsored by a Mormon family in Utah, to leaving there for Brooklyn and growing up in the county of Kings. She also broke down how her travels and upbringing led her to pursuing an artist's lifestyle, as well as some of the adversity and hardships she faced as a result of that decision.
