We’re going thru our Bennewitz tapes that we used in the film for the next couple of episodes of the SS&K podcast. In this installment we’ll listen to a tape recorded by Richard Haines of a conversation he had with the man himself, Paul Bennewitz. Prior to getting on the horn with Bennewitz, Haines thought it best to call his CUFOS colleague Peter Sturrock, to get a sense of what he was getting into. It’s worth a listen and I feel like it’s a bit telling how they were approaching the Bennewitz case. That is with skepticism and snickers. Sturrock even remarks how the whole situation sounds more like an intelligence game rather than an alien encounter.
