Since the beginning of human civilization, the relationship between water and health is very well known. In Ancient Greece, Hippocrates, considered the father of Medicine, established this relationship in his work "Water, air and places" (400 B.C.), directing his fellow citizens to only use pure waters and stay away from dirty waters. Thus, the term "health" encompasses a series of conditions that must be appropriate for the complete well-being of human beings, including a balanced environment. Brazil has not yet managed to control diseases linked to the lack of sanitation and pollution is responsible for significant mortality from heart and lung diseases. Deforestation intensifies the effects of natural disasters and alters mechanisms for controlling the transmission of tropical diseases. Urban sprawl and occupation boundaries have been associated with mosquito-borne diseases. Climate change could affect the health status of millions of people, especially those with low adaptive capacity, through increased malnutrition, natural disasters and the frequency of cardiorespiratory diseases, as well as altering the spatial distribution of infectious disease vectors . Health and the environment are closely related. In general, impacts on the environment are also impacts on human health. There are several examples of this interrelation, between health and the environment, such as: environmental sanitation, pollution, climate change and diseases associated with changes in ecosystems. Infectious diseases associated with polluted water cause nearly 4 million deaths each year, approximately 6% of all deaths globally. Persistent chemicals and organic pollutants found in water and food can cause disease and lead to death. Imagem (créditos): Adobe Stock - AdobeStock_292617275

Every law, though, has one thing in common: an interest in t
