Saul's Conversion - Jack Boon | Bigger x Bolder
from Blackpool Church - Talk Archive Hosted by Blackpool Church
We love being completely certain. It feels good to have your lists sorted and your opinions firmly locked down. But keeping score gets exhausting. Living with a checklist for everyone else leaves us tired and isolated. In this talk, Jack looks at Acts chapter 9. He tracks the story of Saul, a religious elite who had his life completely flipped upside down on a dirt road. He wasn't looking to change. He thought he was the hero of his own story. Instead of forcing our own rightness, this conversation invites us to drop the mental scorecards. It invites us to open our lives to an unexpected interruption. We might just find that being changed means being sent to the exact people we used to avoid.Join us Sundays at 11am + 6pm.
