SCRIPTURE TEXT: 1 Samuel 13:1-25   Surely all human beings are susceptible to fear, foolishness, & frustration. Yet in the Lord, all human beings have an invitation to live by faith with trust in God & the wisdom He grants fostering fruitfulness & spiritual fulfillment. While fear, foolishness, & frustration lead to impatience of heart & imprudence of action, trust, hope, & love in the Lord lead to patient faith & faithful living. Unfortunately, Israel’s first King would not be her best.
