If panfish are your game, the bream are staging and beginning to spawn. Hit 2 to 4 feet of water off points or in the backs of coves, and fish crickets or red wigglers under a cork. The bite’s starting to pick up and should only get better in the coming days. Best bets for hot spots right now are the mouth of Abercorn Creek for redfish and the Shell Bluff area for trout and channel cats. If you want numbers, hit the grass edges on the incoming tide.
