When Savannah was 11, her life revolved around her family's Pentecostal church, like many others growing up in the Bible Belt. Nearly every night was spent at services where people claimed to perform miracles, speak in tongues, and practice "slain in the Spirit" rituals. Savannah never knew what to make of it all, until the night a stranger approached her during a service.
