FLORESVILLE — Shannon Ridge subdivision residents are preparing for the next steps in their fight against a proposal to flush treated sewage through a dry creek bed near them into the San Antonio River. The sewer lines would run through the existing Shannon Ridge subdivision north of Floresville, as proposed by HK Bella’s Ranch LLC. The Bella’s Ranch developers — slated for 1,020 lots with home sizes of approximately 1,000 square feet nestled between the Shannon Ridge and Abrego Lake subdivisions — have also proposed a wastewater treatment facility in the new subdivision.
