This is easily the strangest MonHun adaption we could've gotten, but credit to Paul--it kinda works. It's equal parts action movies, horror movie, and a buddy movie and we surprisingly didn't hate it. It even may be Paul's best movie since Event Horizon. If you're hoping for a sweeping gallery of monsters and lush environments--you'll be disappointed. But if you're willing to tap into Paul's mind for the 1 hour 44 minute run time--you'll get Tony Jaa hunting a Deviljovovich; Ron Perlmann with the most monstrous side burns; and Palicos with abs. Sound enticing? Well then sharpen your switch axe--it's time to jump into this Monster Hunter World.
