Our Lent series, "everything [in] between" is inspired by the Gospel of Luke. On this fifth Sunday of Lent, Jesus stops in his tracks to invite himself to dinner at one of the city's most despised people, and he gets a lot of criticism for it. But what happens next is a lesson in what could happen when we take the time to show mercy even when everyone around us thinks it's a bad idea.
