Saved, what next?! - Who is the Holy Spirit?

“I will send you the Helper from the Father. The Helper is the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father. When he comes, he will tell about me too.  And you will tell people about me too because you have been with me from the beginning.” John 15:26-27 The Holy Spirit is the promised gift of Jesus Christ to all who believe in Him. He is the most precious gift we as human beings can ever receive. We first encounter the Holy Spirit when He convicts us of our sins and shows us that we cannot save ourselves from our sins. But the day we fall on our knees, repent and confess our sins, we receive salvation. From now on, the Holy Spirit renews our dead inner human spirit and makes it receptive to the things of God. More than that, the Holy Spirit wants to enable us and help us live a life pleasing to God alone.
