UnityFiji Party leader Savenaca Narube has raised concerns that the current coalition government is attempting to replace Fiji’s Constitution rather than amend it. Speaking to Radio Tarana host Sanjesh Narain, Narube clarified that his party was not opposed to constitutional amendments, but disagreed with the process being followed. “It’s not that we don’t want to amend it. Get that right to our viewers. No, we are opposed to the process,” Narube said. Narube also criticised the current coalition government, describing it as a “one-man show”.
