Saving Faith

The sermon defines saving faith as a divine gift rather than human effort, emphasizing that all people are inherently sinful and unable to save themselves. It contrasts the wickedness of the natural heart with God's promise to cleanse those who come in humility, obedience, and faith. The preacher argues that worldly wisdom is useless for salvation, which comes only through trusting in Christ's sacrifice. Believers are urged to seek this faith from God alone, acknowledging their total depravity and need for mercy. Ultimately, true faith relies on God's character and leads to eternal life, while unbelief results in judgment.
