Saw
from Messed Up Movies

They discuss how the movie helped launch one of the meanest eras of horror films with it's gritty and grimy fascade, the birth of Jigsaw and how the film build the foundations for a now iconic monster, and how the film's legacy has been altered by the gargantuan franchise it has spawned. Saw, like it's death traps is a tightly construced Messed Up Classic.
