Do you feel like people should say something even if they don’t believe in it? Obviously, this matters less when we are talking about individuals. Do you want the company that you patronize to have a stance? Even if they don’t really agree, do you want them to support the cause publicly? There are many types of people protesting. Some are black. Some are white. Some are sympathetic. Some are empathetic. Some just like black penis and don’t want it to be senselessly killed at the hands of police brutality.
