SBWUY Episode 129 Mel's Hole

In February of 1997, a man who went by the name Mel Waters, called into the radio show 'Coast to Coast AM' and told a story so bizarre and unbelivable, that it had millions of listeners worldwide wanting to know more. At first the story seemed boring, nothing more than a hole on a man's property in central Washington state. The story quickly took a wild turn when it was revealed it possibly had no bottom to it and could bring back family pets two days later. A seemingly bottomless pit situated in rual Washington that had the makings of being a portal to another dimension or alternate universe. Was Mel telling the truth? Or was he putting on the greatest story in history by fooling millions of listeners and still leaving people today scratching their heads.
