Today was another wonderful experience, we continued on our learning journey on the Web of Wisdom. Today's teaching was centered around the Fear of the Lord and we learned that until a man fears God, He doesn't have a chance to access the wisdom of God. Three ways to fear God are to depart from evil, obey his commands, and to honor the men and ordinances God brings your way. Pastor Dami defined the fear of the Lord as a reverential honour with no threat or judgement attached. While honor is the ability to recognize differences and the willingness to allow that recognition to influence your behavior and response toward the object of honor. Honor is entirely dependent on perception, and the quality of honour a person demonstrates is dependent on perception deficiency. Spiritual deficiencies that affect honor are: -Spiritual myopia, - Spiritual hyper myopia and - Spiritual glaucoma.
