First, The plaintiff met the defendant through her daughter and let him move into her basement. She claims he is a scammer and sold drugs out of the home. The plaintiff argues the defendant broke her television, so she’s suing for the cost of the TV. The defendant argues the plaintiff harassed him and falsely accused him of selling drugs. Then, The plaintiff met the defendant because they played bingo together, and they became friends from carpooling together. The plaintiff says she loaned the defendant cash on two occasions, but the defendant hasn’t paid her back fully, so she’s suing for the balance. The defendant argues the plaintiff turned all their bingo friends against her, and she thinks the plaintiff is suing for more than she owes. Plus, The plaintiffs bring their daughter’s ex-boyfriend to court. The mother claims her daughter and the defendant were supposed to move in together, but then he broke up with the daughter after the plaintiffs filed the lawsuit. They are suing for the cost of a four-wheeler. The defendant thinks the plaintiffs are terrible parents and is countersuing for medical bills and emotional distress.
